Overview
To support the education, personal development, and advancement of facilities professionals, ERAPPA has established scholarships to help with the financial support for several APPA leadership Training and Facilities Management skills development programs at APPA U. The next application process for education scholarships opens on Monday, July 22, 2024, and closes on August 16, 2024. Winners are announced at the ERAPPA Annual Conference. Eligible applicants must be employed by an ERAPPA member educational institution.
- ERAPPA Educational Scholarship applicants are applying for opportunities to attend APPA U and the Supervisor’s Tool Kit in 2025.
- Former ERAPPA Educational Scholarship awardees must wait two years before applying for an educational scholarship again.
What is Covered
The ERAPPA Educational Scholarship covers the full tuition for any of the following APPA Educational Programs and up to a maximum of $2,750 related travel expenses.
Scholarship applications, including the applicant’s supervisor’s endorsement, are reviewed by a selection committee and scored. Scholarships are awarded competitively, so please make your application strong.

Institute for Facilities Management (any one of four tracks) to be offered in person January 6-9, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas.
APPA’s premier educational program is designed as a four-track course of study. The scholarship covers one of the following tracks:
- General Administration and Management
- Operations and Maintenance
- Energy and Utilities
- Planning, Design, and Construction
Leadership Academy (any one of four tracks) offered in-person January 7-9, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas.
The purpose of The Leadership Academy is to enhance and further develop leadership throughout the educational industry. The scholarship covers one track (it is a four-track program).
Supervisor’s Tool Kit
Supervisor’s Toolkit – offered and hosted by local chapters. Information on dates and times for the Supervisor Tool Kits can be found on the APPA Website under Continuous Learning.
The program, designed to meet the needs of frontline facilities managers, is on the APPA website. Check back frequently for new offerings.

Who is eligible to apply: First-time Institutional ERAPPA Annual Conference attendees or those who have not attended an ERAPPA annual conference in the last five years.
What it covers: Full conference registration fee.
How it is awarded: First come, first served based on complete (applicant’s application AND supervisor’s endorsement) applications from ERAPPA member institutions in good standing (annual ERAPPA dues are current).
The ERAPPA Annual Meeting is scheduled for September 29th through October 1st in historic Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.
These scholarships cover the cost of the Conference Registration and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. The ERAPPA Ambassador Scholarship pays the registration fee for the applicant to attend the Annual Conference in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. ERAPPA Institutional Members awarded one of the scholarships must receive funding from their respective institution for travel and lodging. The scholarship is non-competitive and requires an application and an endorsement from the applicants’ supervisor. Scholarships are awarded in order of receipt of complete applications (applicant AND supervisor’s endorsement) to institutional applicants whose ERAPPA membership dues are current, so apply quickly!

Host Committee Scholarships
This year the conference host committee, through the generosity of sponsors, is offering additional conference scholarships:

Who is eligible to apply: Second-time Institutional ERAPPA Annual Conference attendees.
What it covers: Full conference registration fee.
How it is awarded: First come, first served based on complete (applicant’s application AND supervisor’s endorsement) applications from ERAPPA member institutions in good standing (annual ERAPPA dues are current).
New to ERAPPA 2024 is an initiative for sponsoring former First Time Attendees to attend the conference from the ERAPPA member institutions. The second time an attendee returns to an ERAPPA Conference, they can absorb more information and engage on a different level. Often their institutional employer has limited funding and must make difficult decisions on which employees can attend an ERAPPA Annual Conference. This sponsorship will ease that burden and get deserving employees the opportunity to participate in this extraordinary event.
Foundation Scholarship Application

Who is eligible to apply: Any Institutional Attendee.
What it covers: Full conference registration fee and hotel accommodation.
How it is awarded: First come, first served based on complete (applicant’s application AND supervisor’s endorsement) applications from ERAPPA member institutions in good standing (annual ERAPPA dues are current).
New to ERAPPA 24 is an initiative for sponsoring attendees to the conference from the ERAPPA member institutions. This sponsorship will enhance the professional development resources that are already scarce and potentially more due to the Pandemic.
Business Partners look forward to meeting attendees and learning about their institutional needs. Educational attendees meet their peers, engage in meaningful dialogue with service providers, and gain invaluable experiences. The Capstone Scholarship will cover the cost of full registration and hotel expenses for 3 nights for an institutional attendee.
