ERAPPA holds annual conferences in the fall, hosted by ERAPPA’s various Chapters on a rotating basis.

  • Future conferences will be hosted by NJAPPA (2025) and SNEAPPA (2026).

Each conference program usually includes twenty to thirty one-hour educational sessions, organized into five concurrent tracks, over two days. The educational sessions typically encompass a range of subject matter, including leadership and management, project design and construction, energy and utilities, new technology, operations and maintenance best practices, etc. Often about one-third to one-half of the sessions become certified for AIA Continuing Education credits.

Each conference host committee develops the educational sessions through a call-for-presentations process. The call usually opens in the late fall of each year and closes in February. However, the Professional Development Committee collaborates with each host committee in developing the educational sessions, based on the Professional Development Committees’ experience with conference programs and subject matter over the years.

At each conference, the host committee usually asks the Professional Development Committee to ensure the educational sessions are executed in a timely, effective, and professional manner.
